Rules

We'll keep the rules simple.

1) Cheating is not tolerated.

If anyone is found to have cheated at ANY point during the competition, they will immediately be disqualified. This includes ALL hacks (ie, map hacks, lag hacks, etc).

2) Only Ladder Maps Will be Used

Both players must agree on the map (excluding the final match, which is a 3 game series with refs watching) and the map can only be a Ladder map. Ladder maps are in the followign directories:
<starcraftdirectory>\maps\ladder
<starcraftdirectory>\maps\broodwar\ladder

3) Game times must be agreed upon by both players.

Arrange the game time among yourselves and then report the win/loss as soon as possible.

4) Complaints about cheating must be accompanied by evidence.

Disconnects are not cheating unless they're intentional. A screenshot of the "waiting for player" window will help, but in most cases, the game will be replayed.

5) The games will all be single elimination games.

One loss and you are out.

6) The Players will be matched up initially at random.

Before the competition, all members will be put into a randomizer and then they will be matched up in the 1st round randomly. Byes will also be calculated.

7) The Final Round of competition will be a 3 game round.

The two players will have a coin toss (electronic) and the winner chooses the first map, loser chooses the 2nd map, and winner chooses the 3rd map.

8) All games will be played using unmodified version of Starcraft with Brood War v1.07

9) All games must be completed within the timeframe specified at the start of each round.

10) All games must be played on "Faster" not "Fastest" or "Fast" "Faster"
