Heavenlystrike: Would you belive she actually isn't evil? ^_~ I know, hard to tell from first impression. I'd post a link to my old comic for you but, as it is my OLD comic, and I'm a whiney artist, I shant be doing so :p (It's somewhere on keenspace, that's all the info I'm giving. nyah!)

Next up on the "To be redrawn" list is Hiko, Yoruko's close friend/counterpart/whatever the heck you wanna call her. And while the lack of normality continues, she certainly counts as someone you could call nice. *nods*

YAY!!! It worked!!! yesterday it got all weird and I had to cancel what I did, and yea, thats ok. I am DONE!!! and I remembered to sign it! Now my pen needs a new battery.... do dodododo. I am quite happy.
I did this picture before a long long time ago, it wasnt as good though, so I thought I would make a whole new one that is so much better, and it is!!! my other one looks really bad
I know it is black and white but it can go in polished right? I did spend so long on it fixing it up, if not just move it, I dont care

I hope this is good enough for the polished room. I worked my hardest, and this is the longest i've ever done on picture before. *laughs* this is also the first time i've ever put anything in the polished.

Yay, I like! Cool idea. Beautiful detail on the basket. I think the only major problem is lighting. If the main light source is that lamp, you should have some warm highlights where you imagine the light would hit her body, and cool shadows where it wouldn't. Also, the highlights on her eyes would be on the other side. Tell me if I'm being confusing! I'm pretty bad at explaining things. ;)

I think we can see how hard you've worked on this one and i think it'S very pretty...May I suggest you to take Shii Painter and try the inking tool? it would be even more pretty and no more sketchy lines :D *i know how hard it is to not be sketchy ¬¬* I very much like the ambiance of the pic, looks like a baddie is gonna attack her or maybe she will turn into one! I like how you took the time to draw all the little tiny rocks and color them all differently-good idea. I also dig the movement in her hair, maybe you could also add that same movement in the wind to the dress, maybe lift it up some and to the same side as the fly-away hairs. I also must agree with sandra about the lighting. Good concept, good color scheme with the browns and umbers and such. Keep at it! :)

Don't trust the timer - it lies! I don't think it keeps track of cumulative time - only the last time you worked on the picture.

The face is truly beautiful you have to tell me how you did that! *but* The body is kinda off compared to the head, to me the arms are the problem...the shoulder should be a lil bit bigger and the hands are too small...but woah the face is just amazing! I can't believe it...woah

the shoulders should be much narrower, and her collarbones should be lower and much better defined. the neck seems a little thick, but it could just be that the shoulders are so narrow. great job on this, awesome skin coloring! :D

...so, the shoulders should be narrower, yet the neck looks too thick because the shoulders are so narrow? mmmmmk. Go team coleslaw and her expert comment proofreading, lol. I really like her face, I believe that's the greatest part of the pic. I would recommend laying out the body and head as a loosly-sketched skeleton to help with proportion. A line gesture, so it's called, captures only the pose of the form or subject matter, as well as any movement. Once that is laid out, step back from your work so you can easily see any proportion changes that need to be made before you jump into the details. Right now, her head is too big for the rest of her body. In fact, if you take your hand and cover your face with it, you'll see that from the base of your palm to the top of your middle finger, you cover from chin to forehead. I see a much larger, detailed head with small hands. I would prefer you make the body larger rather then shrink the head and risk losing the detail in the face. Wonderful coloring on the face, too. Keep at it!

Oki..This is the longest Ive worked on a pic here, and none of my others seem to get much recognition. I -hope- This is Polished worthy. i did try, and look! Color! Heheh. Want a background story?

I like this pic, it's really stylish. It looks a bit goth, but not stereotype/boring goth. Heheheh if you know what I mean. --;; I think the only thing that really needs arranging is the position of the knee, because it's a bit too high up. Otherwise this is lovely :) Try adding a background next time too.

The coloring is very beautiful, I like the different shadings and highlights. Very pretty. Maybe the jaw should curve up more to the ear...but other than that, this is awsome. The background goes nicely, and emphasizes her very lovely. Yeah..this caught my eye.
