mitsu 2006/7/25 - 9:9:31
Haha, I def'ly see it! <3 speechbubble and the way her braids are attached in a circle. :D
treespirit 2006/7/28 - 10:46:25
hey! it REALLY does scream Bjork!. That's really cool! I knew it was bjork straight away, because I read the bubble. Great job! :D :D
dorothyblueeyes 2006/8/9 - 19:16:10

isoueax 2006/6/10 - 20:18:26
What does that mean?
insomniacmg 2006/6/10 - 20:24:39
I'm not sure if it has a real meaning, It's the name of a song by Boards of Canada.
mika-kun 2006/6/10 - 22:3:57
Hmmmm I do know that 'Zeotrope' is a word and it's something to do with liquids and pressures at boiling point......hopefully 'Zoetrope' is way cooler than some scientific equations....:)
isoueax 2006/6/10 - 22:24:19
A zoetrope is a device that generates a moving image through a slitted cylinder.
Yay for Wikipedia.
insomniacmg 2006/6/10 - 23:39:5
Thank you for the clarification via wikipedia. :)
z 2006/6/11 - 16:49:2
You're really impatient. Get back on AIM when you see this.
lorelai 2006/6/13 - 10:51:20
there was old movie theatre in Massachussetts called the Zoetrope. :o it showed old movies no longer in mainstream theatres, but not quite yet on DVD.
insomniacmg 2006/6/15 - 5:30:39
That's interesting. One of the elements to Boards of Canada's music is nostalgia and creating an old and broken sound. The connections between the animation device and the theatre playing old films is a strong one I think. (I hope that came out coherent, lack of sleep.)

I am very sorry to hear that, for my nana has been diagnosed with it too. Tho, she went through surgery to get it removed or whatever, and now she's on radiation. But, everything's fine. She up and well, with an optimistic attitude. :] I think your uncle will be jussttt fine.

RUN FOR THE HILLS! IT'S THE BLINDIRMUS!
Something my crazy German nana used to say. It's pronounced, "BLIN-dur-moose." Why she called moths blindirmusee, I have no idea. It may be Yiddish slang(for she spoke both German and Yiddish) for something completely un-moth-like. And yes, I know it looks like a tan butterfly.
mika-kun 2006/5/7 - 12:46:25
I'm pretty sure I've heard 'BLINDIRMUS' used for bats before.....as in Blind Mouse, but never for moths....wierd...:)
Anyway, I think you should have drawn two up there as he does seem kinda lonely on his own...:D
isoueax 2006/5/7 - 18:58:34
It probably means bat, but my nana used it for moths. -laugh- She was crazy..and mean. Once, she gave my cousin Adam(now 33) a dollar..and then took it away for no reason. He turned out okay, though.

when i was litle, my mother, who is from the philippines, would scare us and say things like, "the mamau is there", to keep us out. or "the mamau is going to come". I guess its like a monster. I'm not sure if this is a real word or not. If it is an actual filipino word, I don't know if I spelled it right. but yeah, I get freaked out by that word, and this is my representation of it.
protego 2006/4/25 - 12:7:17
Whoa! Spooky! Gotta love the background, love the way you used black :) The four faces reminds me of Scream! Blood and the hand looks realistic in my opinion. Great pic!
dark-angel 2006/4/28 - 15:22:45
Wow, I love this and the blood! The hand is wonderfully done.
mika-kun 2006/5/7 - 12:52:23
Real or not I hope I never meet one, looks pretty darn scary to me!...:)
