If you really want a critic, I woud say that the jaw should be further back, so that theres a smooth curve from the forhead to the point of the chin (except for the nose and lips)

Argh! the anims messed up so I can't see how it looked before the changes.......so I'll base tips on the pic shown:- The actual face (minus the nose) from the eyebrow line to the chin is a smidge too flat, get a profile from the net and look at all the ridges and hollows....they may appear slight but they make quite a difference if you include them, try concentrating on building the face profile before adding the nose ........if you want to veer towards realism then definately start with the shadows and hi-lights before even attempting to add detail and features .....when it looks 3d then add the rest...;)
......but even so this pic is far from bad and you have certainly made no glaring errors and with practice and observation you'll be banging out great faces in no time at all...:)

Thank you for the warm rewelcoming. :3 I felt artistically constipated because I haven't been able to do anything for a while because I never have time between school and work /explains life story etc/.

In any case, I really enjoy this board. It's probably the nicest one I've ever been to. I love how everyone is trying a new style every time I stop by; it's really inspiring. Everyone's so friendly too, so I really appreciate it. ^^
