blumeaniandglove 2005/4/30 - 23:44:54
Its so cute i love how it just has this relaxing look to it. The sky outside the window and even the window pane is just so pretty it reminds me of something i just can't remember what.
snoopywar 2005/5/1 - 0:10:24
This is adorable!!! ^^
Love the window view. <3
blumeaniandglove 2005/5/1 - 0:15:12
that comment was actually Norman, by the way.

Anyway, i like the kitty and the hair. The eyes are charming, and the folds are great on the PJs
artanis 2005/5/1 - 20:50:41
soooo pretty >w< I absolutely love the sky!
golden_ataris 2005/5/2 - 7:38:11
The colouring on this is quite special.

I like how you have given a satin effect to the PJ's.
char 2005/5/3 - 1:48:19
Waa! Such cool eyes! And that kitty is just cute *steals it*
ienjoydrawing 2005/5/7 - 4:6:44
This is amazing! d(^-^)b The lines and the coloring are done very well, IMHO. I'm finding the setting and the colors to be really aesthetically pleasing and they give this picture a kind of soothing feel. :3
Awesome and very inspirational work; hope to see more from you!
mika-kun 2005/5/7 - 11:20:25
Some people should stay away from drawing anime........you are obviously not one of them and you should be forced to draw more of it!
ayperi 2005/5/10 - 18:28:46
*gasp* this is so adoreee XD Love the shading/colors etc. :D *snatches kitty*
luck 2005/7/19 - 8:6:12

Well, I finally finished. It took me a long time, but I finished. It's not perfect and I didn't do any shading or anything, but I think this is definetely my best oekaki.

Heck I'm even being brave enough to post it in the polished room..feel free to move it though if you have to.
puck-chan 2005/4/30 - 13:45:2
Oh, i forgot his name. His name is Jiminy Gibblets and he is an original chracte. The link to my first drawing is here: [link]

He ended up having a longer face in this one and I did not draw his hat. He also looks not as happy.
snoopywar 2005/4/30 - 16:48:27
I like it. <3
Is he a zombie? Cause I love zombies. X.x;;
shadoweddragon 2005/4/30 - 20:44:8
nice job! I love the stitched look
puck-chan 2005/4/30 - 22:34:5
Yeah, he is a zombie. He's made of gibblets. He's got an interesting story behind him.
char 2005/5/3 - 2:2:9
*is vaguely disturbed* giblets? >.>; He looks cool anyway, I like the half/half hair and his patchy suit!

Er, anyway, I haven't drawn here in a while so I thought I should ^^ My character Alec. He's in a band called Aftermath that only exists in my WIP-comic;;; Yeah. lol, and while I was coloring the shirt I realised the colors and with his orange hair and couldn't help but think he looks like a rock star Sengoku (with long hair) rofl XDD Oh well...I'll stop rambling now~
snoopywar 2005/4/27 - 18:39:51

ienjoydrawing 2005/4/26 - 21:35:41
Another nice design! Er, I dunno if you wanted any C&C or whatever, but I think the angle of her legs/feet is a little weird? I dunno. Anyway, I like the coloring style and her expression. Keep it up! :D
hanna 2005/4/26 - 21:46:43
I'm a cancer :)
I love it! Your style and talent is amazing! *clap*
You should've drawn a little crab in the sand ^^
heavenlystrike 2005/4/26 - 23:21:20

blumeaniandglove 2005/4/25 - 20:59:1
holy crap! Its my X-boyfriend >.<

Kidding! I love the eyes though (not kidding) an dhow they stand out, as well as the shape. The shape of his face reminds me of an onion (and it so fits). thats one sweet hand, and i love how the palmer bone (the one in the palm) is so angular and juts out like that, it fits. Awesome palm lines, a lot of people don't put those on their hands. I like how the hair sprigs out naturally with the flow of the face, thats cool. But maybe next time you should at least put a little color into the teeth, because they're so unique (love the squiggly one). The background is awesome, but maybe a dark navy or a really dark green would put more contrest. Over all, PRAISE AND COOKIES FOR MONIQUE!!!!!
(sorry for rambling, but i just LOVE this >.<)

monique 2005/4/25 - 23:40:56
yeah i was getting so impatient i forgot about the mouth lol.
naty 2005/4/26 - 18:47:13
too cool! i love those eyes! it reminds me of a vegetable thats crossed with a black cat ^o^ lovely shading on the skin, blue and black go so well together. :]

I am very much in love with teddybears thus the picture! I haven't done an oekaki in a while. I guess it's not too bad ^____^'''' Comments always welcome!!!

P.S. You can take about an hour of the timer for my time away from the computer without saving!!
mika-kun 2005/4/25 - 13:4:45
I'll suspend my suspicions and take the view she's fully clothed behind that bear (although I suspect she isn't) and say 'Nice sweet innocent pic, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside'....nice piccy indeed!
ga-chan 2005/4/25 - 16:16:23
underwear at least ^.^'''''''''''''''''''''
naty 2005/4/26 - 18:45:51

She smirked as she wiped off the blood of her opposers and waited as the next layer of enimies came forward shaking as they listened to the cries of their fallen comrads. She was a devil, a twisting snake. The bride in the sunset saraong.

Timer is way off because I lost it and had to resume it. *whew* Thank you, admin peoples for resume, i almost had a heart attack! Anyhoo, this was awesome, but she scares me TT.TT

C and C please!

(i beg you! Espicially those with semi-realisim and realisim skills!)

Groovy <3
mika-kun 2005/4/24 - 11:29:41
'Tis indeed a fine pic, I love the linebleed effect on the black lines, and of course, the nice big green eyes.
The style isn't realism...soooo not exactly sure how to comment on it from a realism point of view....:/
blumeaniandglove 2005/4/24 - 11:52:48
Can you help me on how I would make it more realistic? As you can see, realisim isn't my forte. <.<
happywaterbottle 2005/4/24 - 13:9:8
very nice coloring! you're getting the hang of shading and coloring!
for the pic to be more realistic, I suggest making the eyes WAY smaller, also draw the eyelashes and shade the white of the eye. you would also have to draw the nostrils, color the upper lip, add texture to the eyebrows and make the little thingie we have under the nose, which I have no idea how it's called. The best way to practice your realism, is to use references.
i'm no pro at realism, but I hope this will help you a bit...
once again, you really impressed me with this pic! you improved so much! ^o^
heavenlystrike 2005/4/24 - 16:54:25
this is a really pretty picture from you, freaky but pretty :D I suggest that if you want to try realism, maybe try without a lineart, like when i *try* to do realism, i draw a lineart, then color over it, i think it can help alot...:\ then again im not really good at realism.
snoopywar 2005/4/24 - 18:51:55
Wah! Blu-chan! Amazing work!! :D
This is so magnifiscent!! The skin is nicely done. :3
And the hand!! Love that hand. :)
mika-kun 2005/4/25 - 12:50:14
Well the anatomy of the face in the pic is really good, the obvious thing being her eyes are way too big, as a kind of rule of thumb the inner part of the eyes should be roughly above the outer edge of the nostrils, and the width of an eye is roughly the same size as the gap between them, heightwise (height of eyes not position on face) I usually start off wide open then close them up until they look right, the inner point (?) of the eyes and outer point usually sit around the same line as well, all of this is just general guidelines of course, actual eyes do vary from person to person and moving them around a bit or altering bits can give great results and express emotions better.....
Track around a few stock sites and get some portrait shots of people to see various faces and by all means practice makes perfect!
blumeaniandglove 2005/5/3 - 0:39:36
*points to Mika's comment* Mika, if you leave then i'll never get better. *dies*

Help us, Mika-one-kanobi...kun. you're our only hope
