It's so pretty.. her hair is.. wow. I love how you did the arm and shoulder, and the shading is awesome. Very well done.. her eyes are very pretty... and kinda sad too. Is she sad? The flippy-curly-waviness of the hair is the coolest part. Nice job.

my first attempt at realism. ^^;; err, not that happy with the way it turned out... it doesn't really look like the ref i used. o_o ahh. anyway, it's vincent from ffvii-advent children! i can't wait to see it (fansubbed). XD it looks promising so far, don't ya think. ^^

you know... while i was doodling this, i added a new layer and a bunch of ugly black dots and stuff appeared on my 'kaki. x_x and i actually had to manually remove them. (me: "NYAAAH.") has that ever happened to one of you guys too? o_o

And yes, Cless is way under-known here in America. At least they're releasing Tales of Phantasia for GBA, although I tried the Japanese version of it and it's not as good as the SNES version (which is really good even though I can't figure out what they're talking about most of the time^^'). The sound quality is nowhere near as good, mainly because the songs have a lot of instruments missing, which kills the atmosphere when you've heard it in full glory^^

My only crit is agreeing with irkyturky on the hand... the other one is the background is very unclear-maybe that's why jellybeen was a bit confused as to what was going on. when I first glanced at this I was kinda like, "wha..?" yeah, maybe the water if this is an overhead shot or bleachers if she's on her way down, or something like that.

O_O Wow. This is truely spectacular. The wya the blood seems to be spraying in a way has an effect like she just busted out some wings and it hurt like hell. XD The movement of the hair is WOW. The only thing is, maybe it's just me, the lighting on the prosterior. ^^; well, the left cheek (from our view) preferably. On the right side the lighting is evenly distributed, the other seems to be on one spot. *can't explain it really* X.x oh well. Completely awesome pic. ^__^

im pleased w/ this to say the least. especially knowing that this just started as a timepasser, and did the time pass, whew. i tried alot of new stuff w/ this and it turned out good, there are couple things that were hard to get from pointless doodle to an actual picture. the best one of my for a LONG time, and i actually put forth effort. but anyway, enjoy, and C&C very welcome!

MOVE THIS TO POLISHED PLEASE *puppy eyes*! Wow... there's a lot detail (you should be proud XD!). The slightly sketchy outlines bring them out to the forefront, the little faeries sparkle beautifully, and the skin shading and hair looks wonderful. The BG and the tattoos(?) look incredible. Finally:
C+C: Anatomy (really the only issue): The guy's neck is oddly shaped, I think this is emphasized by the large band of muscle alongside the throat... it should be more vertical as it ends (it doesn't curve that much) and the back of the neck should be a touch more vertical as well, try finding the nape of your neck... you'll notice it's about 3/4 of the head length back (in profile view) of the head. Additionally, the guy's arms look almost right, but that forearm should be a lot thinner (I suspect this is intentional... but oh well) and have a more overt isoceles triangle shape (I love the six-pack :D) -- do you see the other line you threw in? That's approximately where the real arm would end (in fact.... the shading along that whole area depicts a correct forearm). Oh, and his rearmost shoulder area is a tad small... judging from the angle of his chest, the shoulder should be seen as being wider (although the arm itself and the junction to the shoulder is fine) so if you lengthened the 'line' from the collarbone then made a more or less horizontal line (about half a head width) that then quickly curves down to where you have the shoulder junction now it would look perfect. As for the girl, no real problems I see, although her hips look just a tad low for a *normal* woman, but I believe I have seen people who do look like that.
All in all, this is a drawing you should be proud of. It is very well done, shows excellent knowledge and technique in color choice and shading, and the composition is very good.

actually, her breasts are perfectly anatomically correct. couldn't have placed them better myself.

both of them have INCREDIBLY long torsos. unnaturally wrong. very interesting picture. i love the woman's upper body! i can't really critique it, because i guess you meant for their stomachs to be so long, and that's the only thing i can concentrate on XD GREAT job on the collar bones!! :freaks out because someone drew collar bones correctly: they are so hard to do and they are SO well done. awesome and tubular. but the guy's arm confuses me. does he just not have a hand? or is it folding into the crook of his elbow? if the latter, it should get smaller and smaller into the arm. but AWESOME shading on his arm! great muscular definition. :)

Yeah, the torsos. But the thing that still bugs me is how the guy can cross his arms that way (with forearms that big, you would need to lift up the other arm quite a bit to accomodate). But I still like this one a lot. Woo!

wow, it's a windy day! :) I really like the setting, I'm not sure where they are, but it looks like faerie dwellings in the forest to me. I've gotta say, the tattoos are definitely the best part tho... I wish I had tattoos that glowed!

but i'm saying that his arm vanishes into his chest somehow.. if you'll look, you'll notice his arm starts to curve in right on top of his pecs. it doesn't really give the impression of 2 arms folding, but of a beefy arm with no hand.

yeah...i have a worse tan. it's major farmer tan from softball...and it was in the sun for 6 hours with no sunscreen, so...i hate wearing tanktops now! Beautiful! The proportions are perfect, I've seen your past work and you are really improving! great shading! The simple bg really works. its the color of my room :) you have the most gorgeous hair...i always change my hair when i make my self portraits cuz mine is all frizzy and ick. i really love this!

Lol.. my smile is actually *huge* and I tried to tone it down, and my eyes are smaller, and the nose I just kinda liked like that, my bridge is a little less wide but wide nonetheless! Thanks guys ^_____^
