Okay, it's not exactly how I envisioned it to be. I was imagining using a 500mm lens, openned up for a blurry background. I would be shooting BW film at high ISO. I would get the horse in the very front, over the horses head will be the archer as he releases an arrow. In order to see this, I must goto Iowa for the International Horse Archery Festival...which I don't have time to do. This the 'model' for a future picture.

, no motion blurr to assist...it will take me 10+ hrs to 'recreated' some feel of a photoshop motion blurr...and multiple blurrs, too. There are aspects of the 3 subject going in many differnt directions.
, no form of 'blend' type tool. there are a few ways around it but that will add another 30+min onto this picture. I wanted a bw background, stark...almost empty like the night sky in the city... damn! I missed the Geminid metor shower!
, I was trying to use some elements from the famous "D Day beach landing" photo... but I used colour to make it more emotional. So much for the background.
, I wanted a face covering over the subject...like a nomadic desert crosser.
, Bow: recurve bow, take your pick: Turkish, Mongolian, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Persian, Arabian...definately not English long bow.
