I started this a few days ago, but can't figure out what to do with it, so I might as well just call it done.

Probably a bit dark for most CRT monitors, since it was drawn in pitch blackness at midnight on my beloved LCD :)

Good nighttime atmosphere. The ridge of trees on the horizon is one of the best parts. Those stars looks extra good too. Makes me wanna take a road trip at night:-)

yeah, I agree that the horizon is the best part. I like how it sort of turns lighter there, makes it very realistic.

I always love your pieces... I, too, am very fond of the horizon. I feel like your eyes just get drawn to it. I love the stars, too. Im a big fan of night skies

Looks ok on my monitor, the sky looks perfect...really sets off that tree nicely....:)

Yeah, you might try this again, I cannot hardly make it out at all.Sorry.I can see a little, not much, try another version. Good idea, though.

I think you achieved something really amazing here. Every time I look at this picture I swear that sky is 3D. I think the duller, dark colors for the tree really make that sky GLOW. I am absolutely in love with it.

Sure, it may not be...a "practical" piece to print or frame or anything, given the darkness and saturation of it but .... WOW.

the sky is absolutely magical. it reminds me of one of the scenes in The Lion King.
