This is supposed to be Asuna from Ecole du Ciel (the manga) I had reference from the cover. Which I posted here:
so yesI know it's off, but it's the best I could do with this annoying mouse >_<! Hope it's good enough foer this board!

i think the way u did the skin tone coloring .. great, but the detail in the face and the small details like in the clothes .. (wrinkles and stuff)..should be in the peice. i kno how it feels to draw with a mouse.. trust me on that! but .. it can be done.. with the right patience...
other than that good job..

k i started commenting on this yesterday lol. so i'll try again becuase i went into town and forgot to finish.
i like it. :P it's cute. one thing i have to say though is that it's not bad but it can use improvements, so try to remember these tips for the next time you do a creation.
try to plan out where you're going to put everything before you actually lay down the image. make sure everything will make sense in where it goes, such as the elbow on the right arm. it's not clear on where you placed it so it looks like it the elbow is in the middle of the forearm.
the nose is shaded, not the side of the nose but the whole nose, making it look like it is misplaced to the right. i can see what you tried to do but when shading remember that there is shade because light is hitting one side of it. therefore one side is lighter than the other side
anyway just a couple things to remember but hey, drawing is a learning experience and one that takes time to master. your deffinately one the right road, just keep going, always look at yourself and other to notice these minor details

I think it can safely stay in polished...excellent work!...:)
Did you actually want crits on this piece?
lorelai 2006/7/3 - 10:46:37
Ooup, yes...no crits are allowed if the artist does not specifically request them...just FYI for future reference. But from what I've seen, keyblademaster is all about learning! :)
keyblademaster 2006/7/3 - 18:30:40
Of cousre critism is okay! I wanna be good drawers when I grow up like you guys!
