Very nicely done. I think you should stop using dodge to lighten. Try just using watercolor on the large white bits, and use dodge for the VERY bright, with little gradient areas (like the tip of the nose in this case).
The right hand and wrist looks nice, and you captured the face shape pretty well - however, in the picture (if you're REALLY trying to copy) your head is tilted. Looks awesome (the hollow of the wrist and the palm looks really nice for some reason).

yea.. i kinda c ouldnt get the head to tilt. maybe if i had my tablet it would work alot better. thanx for the idea with the watercolor tool. i used it actually for the whole thing. but the shading on the arm was givin my hell so i gave up.:)

The head/face and hand/arm are excellent.....you're definately a future realist artist for sure........but!....looks like you had given up by the other arm/chest area.....which I can sympathise with as long as you don't turn it into a trait....'cos then we'll never get to see something spectacular...;P

That is one great nose!
And very nicely done lips. =)

Agreed with Mika. I think I was talking about watercolor2 (the one that blends). Yeah, doing that slight tilt to the head is kinda hard - looking forward to your next piece :D.

Yiii, the head is superdelicious, as mentioned. It's slightly blurry but shows excellent attention to detail; that eye in shadow, for instance... mmmhmmmgood. Props for not just filling up the shadow under the hat with black, 'cause it's so much more intriguing this way. :3 Wish the rest was as resolved, though, eh?
