Character Name: Haku Series: Naruto Debut: Anime Expo 2003 Construction Notes: This costume was made for online friend, Laine. I didn't want to cosplay solo at AX and the costume seemed easy enough to make in a short time. She naturally had the long hair and build... and she's the greatest Naruto fanatic I can currently think of. I based the pattern from my own yukata. I picked up the blue-green material from a local JoAnns, made the top reversable so the sleeves would turn out white. Because of the heat, I made the turtle neck sleeveless and made armbands for her to wear. The geta are part of a yukata set I also gave her as a gift. The obi was stitched together from left over vinyl. Despite the discomfort of walking around in wooden slippers and getting up extra early to braid her hair into the bun, I think the costume was well-recieved~!
