| Construction Notes: | This is my first official costume. I was attending my first convention in 2000 and I was planning to enter the karaoke contest. My friend Flo, being a HUGE Macross fan, gave me a hand with the material and wig. My mom and a seamstress helped me with the collar and skirt. Flo talked me out of wearing the costume to the karaoke competition and signed me up for the Masquerade. I did a short walk-on and was well-recieved by the audience~ I guess you could say I was hooked from that moment on. |
